Neha has worked in the mental health field for over 11 years and has experience of working with depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, substance misuse, eating difficulties, bereavement, body image issues, OCD, hearing difficulties, low self-esteem and confidence, and so on. She has significant experience of managing high risk presentations and in making subsequent onward referrals to Psychiatrists or the Community Mental Health Recovery Services (CMHRS) as appropriate to ensure clients get the right level of care.
Neha has largely worked with adults within primary care in the NHS. She also has experience of working with couples as well as young people from the age of 13 onwards. Additionally, she provides clinical supervision to therapists in individual and group settings.
Neha has trained in different therapeutic modalities such as Person-centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. She integrates these approaches in practice to fit around her clients’ presentations and goals.
Neha maintains a private practice in addition to working for the NHS. She can also speak in Hindi and Bengali.”
